What happens to my data if I cancel or finish my project?
Read-only access to your property record — forever. Once your project is marked complete (or you cancel a subscription), your account drops to a free read-only mode for your property record only: appliances, warranties, model & serial numbers, install dates, closing docs, and project history stay viewable and downloadable. You just can't start new projects, run AI features, or add new records. If you want to keep actively maintaining your home — adding new appliances, getting maintenance reminders, storing new docs — the vault at $99/year ($49/year for the first 500 founding members) is built exactly for that.
Does All Access expire?
No time limit — All Access stays open until you mark the project complete. Whether your project takes 3 weeks or 18 months, you're covered by the single $99 payment. After completion, your record stays accessible in free read-only mode forever, and you can add the vault at $99/year ($49/year as a founding member) to keep it living.
Why are contractors free?
Because the more contractors on Our Haus, the more valuable it is for everyone. We never want cost to be the reason a contractor doesn't show up on a project. Homeowners pay for the workflow and AI tools — contractors get the collaboration layer free.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of any paid plan, email support@ourhaus.ai with the email on your account and we'll refund you in full — no questions asked. We reply within one business day; refunds land back on the original card in 5-10 days.
